Employee Mental Health, Intervention, and De-Escalation Training
Our Employee Mental Health, Intervention, and De-Escalation Training equips participants with proactive peer intervention and active bystander skills. It is designed to help them identify when themselves, or a peer, require assistance and provides them the skills needed to actively intervene. Additionally, the program provides participants with de-escalation skills, which involve using verbal and nonverbal communication skills to help calm down individuals and prevent a situation from becoming more intense or violent. These skills can be used with peers or the public they deal with.
